'I always thought of a personal shopper as being an added expense to my shopping budget. That was until I had the opportunity to work with Alexandra Ryan at ShowMeStyle. I am a professional woman who owns her own business. I have high end clients and as a trial lawyer, I need to look great all the time. And how I look makes a big difference in how I feel and carry myself. Alexandra first organized my closet to make it easier for me to put outfits together. She can instantly tell what is dated and needed to be thrown out—her gentle push alone gave me the strength to cleanse my closet. She revived items that had been hanging in my closet for years and not worn, and showed me what to do with them. She is so resourceful—she took a dated necklace and made it into a fashionable bracelet; she took a shirt I never wore with a beaded neckline and made it into a fashionable necklace. Alexandra has been my closet coach and personal shopper for a number of years now. I NEVER shop without her; it is simply not worth it. On my own I spend more money, end up settling for things I don’t need or want, and I come home with far fewer items. Periodically, she returns to my closet to help me put more outfits together.
